An Aerial View

As january 2009 draws to a close -- I imagine that for many of us , the fervor with which we entered the new year is waining as quickly as the month.
Keeping that in mind I want to post a reminder -- to my self as well -- to keep on keeping on as we march thru the "now-ness" that is our lives.
As you do this -- maybe you should try this approach:
try taking a BROADER view of your life...seeing it in totality...not soley thru the lens of meeting your many individual goals.
I believe we often miss the forest for the trees --especially when evaluating our lives.
If we were to take an aerial view, so to speak, we'd find that our lives look more like we want them to than we think -- it's just that some things don't "feel" the way we thought they would. Looking from the outside in allows us to fine tune and "tweek"(often this means adding SPECIFICITY where it is lacking) where need be -- without feeling we have to completely readjust or add a million new goals or already full to-do list in order for our lives to work the way we desire.
So I implore you to consider fine-tuning, adjusting your radar sites -- tweeking may be all that is required -- all that is necessary. It's the constant reinvention of the wheel that leaves us
burnt-up, burnt-out, and bummed.
So -- this time trying...leaning a liiiiiittle to the left, shifting a bit to the right...or maybe justttttt hitting center...that might just be all you need.
Just a thought
